Hi, Is it possible to unlink a Magicband+ from the Walt Disney World app and link it to the Disneyland app? I'm coming to Cali next october and I'd like to know if I can use my WDW Magicband+ from 2024.

Hi Guillaume! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

MagicBand+ is a convenient way to experience the parks and offers an immersive experience on select Attractions, enhancing the magic. I have good news for you! It's really easy to link your band to your Disneyland ticket, regardless of whether you've already used it to enjoy the parks in Orlando. I can walk you through it.

First, download the Disneyland mobile app. This is a handy tool you'll use throughout your park day. Familiarize yourself with its features before you walk through the gates. We'll also be using it to link your band.

Power on your band by pressing the button on the back once. It will need to be fully charged to pair it. Be aware that it can take some time. Once you're ready, head to the app. Tap on the three-bar menu on the bottom right. Scroll down to the Account section and tap "MagicBand+" to begin linking your band. Next, tap the "+" in the upper right side of the app to pair it via Bluetooth. Follow the prompts to tap your band to your mobile device. Finally, you'll assign a valid Disneyland ticket to your band. Repeat the process if you have multiple bands to link. It's that easy!

October is a wonderful time to visit the parks. You'll love all the festive decor, Entertainment, and special treats and eats available for the spooky season. Watch for more information about Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort as we get closer to your visit. A must-do for me is the special Attraction overlay, Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. Jack really transforms the beloved Attraction!

    Have a magical day!
