Hi there, Ma - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm glad that you stopped by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations! With the
50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing, you'll have tons to do and are sure to make memories that will last a lifetime!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has always been one of my favorite places to stay during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. In fact, it's where I stayed the very first time I visited as a little Mouseketeer! Now, with recently refreshed rooms and dining options, and the brand new
Disney Skyliner station bringing additional transportation options, this Resort is an absolutely stellar choice!
At this Resort, Preferred Rooms are located in the Martinique and Barbados areas, which are close to the centrally located Old Port Royale. This makes it a bit more convenient to dine at Sebastian's Bistro or Centertown Market, or to enjoy the Fuentes del Morro feature pool. The various views listed for Preferred Rooms (i.e., Views of the Resort Hotel, Courtyard or Woodlands) basically indicate that the view outside of your room could be any of these things. You may overlook woods or landscaping, another building of the Resort, or an outdoor courtyard area. At this Resort, reserving a Preferred Room is all about the building's location, however, you may request a specific view or building at the Front Desk prior to checking in if you'd like to - Cast Members always try their best to accommodate if it's possible.
You're making a great choice to add a
4-Day Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper to your vacation package. For each day you plan to visit the Theme Parks, you will need to make a
Park Pass Reservation, in advance, for the first park you plan to visit each day. Once you've visited that park, after 2 p.m. you will be able to "hop" to any other available Theme Park, and can even head back to the park you started your day at later if you'd like! The key thing to remember is that in order to visit
any Theme Parks on a given day, you must have a valid admission (your ticket)
and a Park Pass Reservation for the first Theme Park you will visit.
For example, let's say that on your first day you want to start your morning at Magic Kingdom Park, and then head to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT later in the day. To do so, you will use one day of your 4-Day Theme Park Ticket, and would want to make a Park Pass Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. Then, because you've added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can also explore EPCOT and/or Hollywood Studios after 2 p.m. Park hopping is subject to availability, but in my experience, it has been extremely rare for a Theme Park to reach full capacity. If park hopping is not available, you'll receive a notification on the My Disney Experience Mobile App, but again, this is quite rare (think Christmas Day, etc.). The same logic applies to the other days - simply pick the Theme Park you want to start at, and make sure you have a Park Pass Reservation for that park on that day.
I hope this information helps as you continue planning.
