Hi Olivia,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I'm so pleased to hear you'll be staying at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort! My daughter calls it our "Disney home," and we do truly love to stay there because of its gorgeous landscaping and theming. It's such a relaxing place to be when not in the middle of all the theme park excitement.
I'm a tea drinker too, though I'm an English Breakfast gal – and a fussy one at that! I actually bring my own tea bags with me when I visit Walt Disney World because I just need
my cup of tea in the mornings. All that is to say: I know the importance of a good cuppa, and I'm here to help you have a beau-
tea-ful tea time while on holiday.
Tea kettles are not available from the front desk, and bringing your own is prohibited due to the potential fire hazard. My solution is to run water through the coffee machine to heat it up, and then steep my tea bag in that. I purchase a small container of milk to keep in my room's refrigerator, and bring raw sugar and honey packets from the resort's food court to sweeten.
If you're willing to venture out first thing, I recommend walking over to
El Mercado de Coronado, which is the resort's food court. I really enjoy an early morning walk at this resort: the sunrise over the lake, framed by shadowy palm trees, is truly stunning, and I find the walk really starts my day on a positive and peaceful note. At the food court, you'll find tea supplies (I've seen Twinings Earl Grey there) and a hot water spigot for your tea.
I hope this helps you enjoy a good cup, Olivia. I'm wishing you safe travels and a lovely stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
