Hi! I'm planning a trip to Disney and my daughter will be turning 10 years(adult age for Disney) during our trip. Does that affect the tickets or dining plan since she will be 9 a child when we go then turn 10 adult age in Disney? Thanks!

    HI Debra!

I can't think of a better place to spend a birthday than at Walt Disney World!  I still ask my husband for a Walt Disney World vacation for my birthday every year.  You will not need to worry about "upgrading" your daughter's ticket from child to adult.  Disney goes by the age of each guest on day of check-in.  In other words, in Disney's eyes, if she's nine at check-in, she's nine for your entire vacation.

Be sure to ask for a special Happy Birthday button when you check into your resort.  Your daughter will love all of the attention from Cast Members and other park guests!  It never gets old hearing someone tell you "Happy Birthday, Princess!"

I hope this helps put your mind at ease, Debra.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation.

    Have a Disney day,
    Ashley
