    Hi, I'm planning on taking my baby to visit Magic Kingdom on his 1st birthday. I want to make it very special for him. Can u recommend anything for a 1 year old in the park & perhaps in the Disney Springs area? Any specific experiences?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your plans to take your little Mouseketeer to Magic Kingdom Park for his 1st birthday will be so much fun! We took my little guy to Walt Disney World Resort when he was 6 months old and had such a wonderful time with him. It has been a blast seeing him discover new things each time we've returned.

    My first suggestion is to get him a complimentary birthday button while checking in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at Guest Relations at Magic Kingdom Park. If you attach it to your little one's stroller, Cast Members and Guests will love wishing him a happy birthday throughout your vacation! Another idea that would make his 1st birthday special is if he got his hair cut at Harmony Barber Shop! There is a "My First Haircut" package that even comes with commemorative Mickey Ears and a certificate!

    You'll have so many different stores to choose from while shopping for your birthday boy at Disney Springs! I recommend a visit to the Marketplace Train Express for a ride on the train as well as a spin around on the Marketplace Carousel!
