Hi, Merissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
In my opinion, there is no better place to celebrate a birthday than the
Walt Disney World Resort. Since the Force is strong with your husband, I am sure he will have a blast traveling to the planet Batuu and experiencing his very own Star Wars adventure at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Be sure to also check out all of the other
Star Wars experiences that can be found at
Disney's Hollywood Studios as well.
Since you are celebrating your husband's birthday and first visit, be sure to pick up your complimentary "Happy Birthday" and "First Visit" buttons at your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or any
Guest Relations location. You never know what kind of magic will happen when you're wearing those buttons. If you're
planning a special birthday dinner for your husband, you can
have a cake delivered to many restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. For additional ways to add some magic to your celebration, be sure to explore the
Enchanting Extras Collection, as well as the unique gifts and in-room celebrations offered through
Disney Floral & Gifts.
For a big Star Wars fan like your husband, there are a couple of specific experiences that I would highly recommend for celebrating a special occasion. Constructing a custom lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers is a must-do for an aspiring Jedi. In addition to the lightsaber being a treasured souvenir, a visit to Savi's Workshop is quite a moving experience for any fan of the Star Wars franchise. This experience is extremely popular, so be sure to
book a reservation. Reservations for Savi's Workshop can be made 180 days in advance. When you return from the planet Batuu, I would recommend ending your day with some sweet treats and incredible fireworks views at
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party. I am sure this will be a birthday long remembered!
May the Force be with you!
Samantha
