Hi, I'm planning a first visit for a 2 year old this fall. I am torn whether to stay Deluxe so that I am closer to the park (faster trips back and forth) or in a Value Family Suite (she goes to bed earlier than Mom & Dad). Any advice???

Hi Amanda! This is always a tough decision!  We have always opted for the deluxe as the locations and amenities were more enjoyable for our needs. We used the pack and play cribs and set them up in a location that would shield it from as much of the rest of the room as possible. This is not a great solution but we tried to book a room in a resort where we had a balcony and then booked a room with a view and enjoyed sitting outside while our kids fell asleep.  The Value suites are nice and if you are tv watchers this will allow you to enjoy that while you are separated from the sleeping area of the two year old.  There is one other thought to consider too. Perhaps you can book a DVC room for your stay. You can select a one bedroom and have the separate room as well as a kitchen for your stay. Resorts that have these that are close to the parks include the Boardwalk, Beach Club and also Wilderness Lodge. This would be the answer to both your needs and if rooms are available you do not need to be a DVC member to book one of these in the resorts.
