Hi,I`m planning our first trip in Oct.,our girls are 5 and 8,and want to meet lots of princesses, but still love pooh and mickey and all the childrens characters, also. Can you suggest the best character dining experiences. Thanks!

Hi, Lynn!  My family loves character dining!   Only at Disney can you dine with a mouse, a silly old bear, and a royal princess!

For Princess Dining, I like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.  Several princesses will be present as you dine in a castle-like setting.   Breakfast is my favorite meal here.

You may also want to try the Crystal Palace inside the Magic Kingdom where you can enjoy a huge buffet with Pooh, Tigger, and all their friends.   There is a wonderful selection on this extensive buffet and is a great way to take a break while visiting the Magic Kingdom.   We usually come here for a long relaxing lunch as our mid-day break.

There is no better way to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and their pals than at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary!   This is a "must do" for every one of our family vacations!   It is worth the trip just for the desserts!

All of these dining locations are very popular, so make sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE when you hit your 180 day booking window.   All characters are subject to change and some dining experiences require a deposit.   Please don't forget your camera and autograph books!   Enjoy your first magical vacation to WDW!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
