Hi I’m looking to book a dinner reservation at space 220 for my holiday in July. I can seem to book it on the app. Is that because it’s so popular it books months ahead or does it have any different booking methods Thanks

    Hello there, Thomas!

I hope that, like Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear, you’ll get to book your dream dining reservation and beyond! Speaking of beyond, it sounds like you are ready to travel up a 220-mile-long space elevator to a space station. I have to admit, Space 220 Restaurant really does live up to all of the hype, especially when you see astronauts floating by participating in lightsaber battles.

You are right, Space 220 Restaurant is a very popular spot, and it typically fills up as soon as advanced dining reservations become available, which is 60 days in advance of your arrival. I know quite a few people, including myself, who wake up at 6:00 a.m. EST 60 days in advance of their vacations to have the best chance of booking highly sought-after reservations.

Don’t worry; this isn’t an intergalactic emergency because I’ve been surprised by how often Guest plans change as you get closer to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Space 220 Restaurant reservation availability may change, so keep checking back at different times of the day to see if a reservation becomes available. I’ve found that lots of reservations open up on the day of or the day prior to my visit, so make sure to check your My Disney Experience mobile app. If you are interested in this restaurant for the experience, you can increase your chances of getting a reservation by looking up availability at the Space 220 Lounge in the restaurant.

May the magic be with you!
