Welcome to planDisney, Robyn! We’re honored that you would trust us to help you create a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation for your family.
I still remember the very first time I was tasked with planning a trip for my immediate and extended family, with ages in our party ranging from 2 to 82! I was certainly grateful for the incredible Cast Members who answered my calls and walked me through each step of the process.
In fact, whether you’re planning your first cruise or your fiftieth, I recommend starting your planning by
calling the friendly and knowledgeable Cast Members at 800-951-3532. You can also
submit a question via email if you prefer that method of communication. Here are some things you might want to think about before you call:
- What time of year you prefer to cruise
- How many people will be in your party
- Where you’d like to sail
- What port you prefer to depart from
- How many days you’d like to spend at sea
These
tips for new cruisers will also offer insights as you plan your first cruise. My favorite tip is to make sure everyone in your travel party who has a smartphone downloads the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so they can customize their own schedule and communicate with each other while on the ship.
Speaking of phone calls, once you book your cruise, you can schedule a complimentary, pre-recorded
phone call from select Disney characters to wish you well on your sailing. It’s the perfect way to get kids of all ages excited for their upcoming trip!
I hope you and your crew will be
dancing with Captain Mickey on deck soon! Until then, please sail back to us here at planDisney for advice on everything from port adventures to adult activities.
Embrace the magic,
Sami
