Hi, I'm excited to visit Epcot during the Flower & Garden festival. I'd love to take part in the 'Garden Graze' trail to collect the stamps to claim the reward, however, I am unable to have gluten - can I still take part?

Well hello there Crystal, I'd like to wish you a warm welcome back to planDisney!

It's so wonderful to see your questions over the past decade or so, and you've come back just in time for The Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. With all of the wonderful things making their return this spring, I bet you're just as excited about checking out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden festival with all of the delicious things to sip and savour while taking the time to smell the flowers.

Always up for a good international hunt around EPCOT, I'm personally a huge fan of completing the various treat-oriented challenges and the Garden Graze was certainly no exception last month! As I had members in my travel party with varying dietary needs, we were delighted to discover that there was a cleverly compiled list of Plant-Based and Gluten/Wheat Friendly options available for us to cross-reference with the items required to complete the Garden Graze. The friendly Cast Members at the Outdoor Kitchens also let us know that there were special Cast Members tasked with addressing dietary requests or needs if we were willing to wait for them to come over and discuss what may or may not be suitable. In my personal experience we found our safest Garden Graze options to be the Pineapple Skewer with Tajin Seasoning found at the Refreshment Outpost, as well as the Potato Pancakes at the Bauernmarkt: Farmer's Market adjacent to the Germany Pavilion.

One of my Princely Picks, Tips and Tricks when completing any of these fun food-finding activities, is purchasing multiples of favourite items - you'll still be able to receive stamps for each one to be used towards redeeming your specialty treat at the end. Without spoiling too much about this year's treat, I recommend bringing it over to Club Cool in order to concoct some refreshing combinations like we did! I hope that this was helpful Crystal, you're always welcome to come back to planDisney again to ask me any more questions ahead of your next Disney adventure.

Wishing you all the best on your Gluten-Friendly Garden Grazing quest!
