Hi I’m going to Disneyland Orlando with Florida resident ticket.. I want to know if bank statement can be used as Florida resident proof..

    Hi Praveena,

Thanks for your excellent question! Those of us who live in Florida full-time or even part-time are so fortunate to have easy access to Walt Disney World and to be able to take advantage of frequent special offers just for us.

When we Floridians use our discount to buy theme park tickets, an annual pass, book a resort or other special offer, we must provide proof of Florida residency. The best forms of ID are a drivers license, state ID or Florida-based military ID. With any of those, you now can verify your Florida residency online when you purchase tickets. Once that's done, you can skip a stop at Guest Relations to activate your tickets and head directly to the parks.

However, if you are a part-time resident whose main address is in another state or if you don't have a standard ID, you can provide other means of verification, dated within the past two months. Those alternate forms of identification include mail from a financial institution, a utility bill, an insurance bill and mail from a government agency. You will find a full list and instructions for verifying your Florida address here.

For spring 2020, Walt Disney World is again offering Discover Disney three- and four-day tickets to Florida residents for a deep discount. Those limited-time tickets are a great way to visit the parks on a budget. But hurry! The promotion is scheduled to last only through June 29, 2020. (Prices and dates are subject to change).

I hope that answers your question, Praveena. And please let us know if we can help in any other way as you plan your upcoming vacation. Enjoy!
