Hi! I'm confused about what is / isn't an official runDisney Race Hotel. I ran the Wine and Dine and stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort. This ended up NOT being an official hotel. What is "official" for the Princess? runDisney's answer wa

    Hi Sylvia!

Each race has different "host resorts" for race weekends that will have runDisney buses going to and from them for each race weekend event.

I'm sorry you were at a non-host resort for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon.  The buses really are a convenient way to get where you need to go! You can find listings of host resorts for each race weekend on the "travel" section of the runDisney website.

The good news is that for Princess Half Marathon in 2014, ALL of the Disney Resorts will be host resorts and have buses running to race events.  The Princess Half Marathon has grown so much, that it joins the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in January in having all the resorts be host resorts.  So, you can stay wherever you like:)

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
