Hi, I’m coming to Disney in April — so excited! My son uses a Disability Access Service Card. How does the card work with the boarding group/pass for Rise of the Resistance?

    Hi Lori!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is probably the hottest attraction right now at the Walt Disney World Resort! To answer your question, you will be able to use the DAS card once you join a Boarding Group. With that being said, the most important tip I can give you is to arrive early to Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to join a Boarding Group. At present time, Guests have been arriving at the park one hour before park opening just to clear security bag check and to line up at the touch points. Keep in mind that everyone wishing to obtain a boarding pass must tap in the park. Once the park "officially" opens, you must be ready to join a boarding group via your My Disney Experience App. I would recommend that you have all the guests in your party linked to your My Disney Experience Account under "Family & Friends" so that you can get everyone in the same boarding group. Again, you will be able to use the DAS card once you join a Boarding Group. When your Boarding Group is called, then you proceed to the attraction and advise the Cast Member that your son has a DAS card and you will be permitted to the front of the group. Hope this helps!

Quick Tip: Within Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, there a great little place called Oga's Cantina. This is a must-do and is so popular, reservations are recommended. Trust me, you don't want to miss out!

Lori, thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
