Hi Kim!
Thanks so much for bringing your question about
Disability Access Services to us here at planDisney! Walt Disney World has always been fantastic with helping guests with disabilities enjoy their park experience. With accommodations both in the resorts and in the parks, guests with
mobility,
visual,
hearing, or
cognitive disabilities can experience the magic and wonder of a Walt Disney World vacation!
Kim, the Disability Access Service, or DAS, is a program offered to guests who may have difficulty waiting in traditional queue lines. Recently, DAS began to offer pre-registration via video chat for guests planning an upcoming stay. Unfortunately, after speaking at length with a Cast Member, the DAS video chat system is currently for guests in the United States and Canada only. Guests who reside outside of the US and Canada will need to register for DAS in person at Guest Relations within the four theme parks. A Cast Member will be able to guide you in the registration process and assist you with making the first of your DAS reservations.
DAS FYI: Once you've redeemed your initial DAS, you will be able to register for another DAS from the convenience of the
My Disney Experience App. Once you've opened the app, click on the "More" button on the bottom right of your screen. Then click on the DAS button, which will take you to the selection screen. You can then select the DAS return time for your next experience.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
