Hi,Im still a bit confused on the dinning and snacks on the DCL I would like to kno what will I be paying for on the ship out my pocket?I understand the tiping but will I have a bill at the end for anything else???Plz help Thanks

    Hi Anna,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'd love to clear up this confusion - and the answer is pretty simple, just about everything is included!  Your meals, snacks, and drinks from the 24-hour beverage station are all included with your cruise fare - as well as food requested through room service.  It's pretty cool to walk up to the pizza, burger or sandwich counter and simply walk away with your meal!  What you will pay extra for is alcoholic beverages, specialty coffees, pre-packaged theater snacks (candy, popcorn etc) and any sodas or bottled water obtained at the bars.  During your dinner meal, you are not charged for sodas, juice, milk - but charges apply for alcoholic and specialty drinks (they usually offer collector cups for the kids which are extra).

For anything that is extra, you will be asked for your stateroom key because the ships are on a cash-less system.  Items you purchase will be applied to your shipboard account and this is settled with either a credit card you've left on file - or you can add cash to your account at guest services.  I do always bring a stash of $1 bills to use to tip for the room service delivery - there is no charge for the food, but I like to give at least $2+ depending on how complex my order is.

    I hope this helps!
