Hello, Ivette! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you chose
Disney Cruise Line for your special birthday celebration. How lovely that your family will be there to celebrate with you.
As a first-time Guest, you will not receive a lanyard. I recommend bringing one from home that has a plastic pouch to hold your Key to the World card, which is essentially your stateroom key and onboard identification. However, you might only need one for some of your traveling party. My husband likes to keep his Key to the World card in his pocket. My son doesn’t like wearing a lanyard, so I keep his key in my lanyard pocket. Lanyards are available for purchase in the gift shops if you’re looking for a fun souvenir.
I recommend
notifying Disney Cruise Line that you’re celebrating your birthday. Your dining team will go out of their way to ensure your day is extra special. Be sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button that can be worn throughout the entire cruise. The Crew and other Guests will all want to share well wishes with you!
If you’re looking for some pampering on board, you could reserve a spa treatment at Senses Spa. I think a massage would be a wonderful way to celebrate your day. Upon boarding, visit the spa to learn about any specials and enter the spa raffle. No matter how you decide to celebrate, I know your cruise will be extra special having your family with you. The
Disney Wish is stunning! I hope you feel like a princess with all the beauty around you.
Please sail our way again if we can help with anything else. I hope this is your BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
