Hi, there!
Katie, I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort this Spring. Magic will be in full bloom by April!
I totally understand wanting to plan an adults-only dinner during your stay. My husband and I just love exploring the Walt Disney World Resort with our kiddos in tow, but a date night is certainly a nice little break from all the excitement and adventure we experience as a family.
You heard correctly about Pixar Play Zone. Unfortunately, this kids-only experience will be unavailable after March 30 of this year. At this time, your only options for childcare during your visit is
Captain Hook's Pirate Crew at Disney's Beach Club Resort or
in-room babysitting through Kid's Nite Out.
If you have concerns about booking an in-room babysitter, I sympathize! For my family's most recent Disney vacation, in-room babysitting was our only option for childcare as our youngest is just an infant and much too young for other children's programming. We decided to go ahead and book a babysitter with Kid's Nite Out based on positive recommendations from friends, and we were pleasantly surprised with the service! Our sitter arrived promptly and came prepared with age-appropriate games and toys for each of our three children. I felt confident knowing our crew was kept quite safe while we were out for the evening! We won't hesitate to use this convenient service again for future family vacations.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
