Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. There is something so magical about Walt Disney World’s
fireworks and nighttime spectaculars. I almost always get happy tears while I watch the shows, with their combination of familiar and moving music and spectacular effects, and that warm and wonderful feeling of being in my happy place with my favorite people.
Jennifer, I LOVE it when I’m able to sprinkle pixie dusted good news! I’m happy to confirm that you are welcome to visit Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to watch Magic Kingdom Park’s fireworks from the beach area. In fact, it’s a tradition for my family to head there on our arrival night, grab Dole Whips from
Pineapple Lanai, and then settle into the sand for the show. They even pipe the music in!
Enjoy the show, and enjoy your stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. Whether you’re at Riverside or French Quarter, be sure to explore both resorts using the scenic walking path, bike rentals, or even a carriage ride. On our recent stay, my family was really impressed with all the
recreation offerings, so definitely check the recreation schedule when you check in. My kids made tie-dye shirts, there was yoga on the lawn, and there’s even a Beignet Fun Run most Sundays. They also recently announced a Disney-inspired painting workshop, which I can’t wait to try out!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
