If you download the
My Disney Experience app on your device you'll be able to use a feature called
MagicMobile Service. Adding a MagicMobile pass to your virtual wallet will not only allow you to scan into the parks, tap to link PhotoPass pictures to your account, and check in for Lightning Lanes, but also charge purchases to your resort hotel room. This pass is similar to a
MagicBand+ and can perform many of the same functions, and best of all: it's free! If you scroll down on the MagicBand+ page you'll see a comparison chart so you know what features are available with MagicBand+ and MagicMobile Service.
You can also explore
Merchandise Mobile Checkout. This is another feature of the My Disney Experience app, and it allows you to scan items at participating locations, check out and pay on your device, then show your QR code receipt to a Cast Member on your way out the door. This is a great way to shop and avoid a potential queue at the register.
Now, let's address the second part of your question. Once upon a time guests could send purchases from the parks back to their resort hotel, but this service was discontinued and has yet to return. I hope that this amazing perk will return one day, but for now I am just wishing on a star for my dream to come true.
