Hey Howdy Hey Alex and welcome to planDisney!
I am so sorry to hear that you need to update your reservations as some of your party won't be able to join you for your noble meal.
Cinderella's Royal Table is such an elegant experience that I am glad you will still be able to experience it. But before we go too far, let's talk about the cancellation policy.
As you know, there are a select few very popular dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort that do require full payment of the experience before the reservation date, Cinderella's Royal Table is one of them. Canceling or updating your party's information is still allowed but it does require a phone rather than being able to do this from your My Disney Experience account. You can
give Disney a ring and talk to a Cast Member about updating your reservation. The Cast Member should also talk to you about when to expect your refund as well. As long as you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you should be able to receive a refund on the changes you make.
Now I am sure you are well underway planning the rest of your Magical holiday, but I did want to share one bit of recent news that you might want to take advantage of. Recently, it was announced that we would be expecting the return of the beloved
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween party in Magic Kingdom. This epic Halloween experience has something for everyone. From special Halloween parades, fireworks, Halloween overlays in some of the attractions and of course, trick-or-treating throughout the park! I would highly recommend you look into purchasing your tickets for this special event!
Best of luck with the continued planning of your holiday later this year. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
