Hi! If I book a trip now when my child is 9 for October at which time he will be 10 can I still get the free dining plan for him?

Hello Hillary, and welcome to planDisney. I hope you're having a fantastic day. I also have a nine-year-old who's turning 10 this year! It's an amazing age to experience all the wonder at Walt Disney World Resort!

I love taking advantage of the wonderful specials that add an extra touch of magic to your trip, and the free dining offer for kids is a spectacular deal. Once a guest turns 10, they no longer qualify for this offer. If your dates are flexible, be sure to review the current Special Offers located on the official website for more information regarding this deal. That's also where you'll find the latest promotions. I recommend checking back periodically, as offers can change throughout the year.

If you do visit in October, be sure to explore all the fabulous fall festivities at Disney's Magic Kingdom. It's terrifyingly good fun and an absolute favorite of mine. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party features fireworks and music that are sure to thrill. The Boo-To-You parade is also a highlight. This is a special ticketed event, so I highly suggest booking as soon as they become available. They are popular and tend to sell out.

I hope this information helps as you plan your trip! If you have any other questions, please come back to visit us at planDisney. We're always happy to help with more tips and advice. Thank you so much, Hillary.

    Sending pixie-dusted magic your way,
