Hi, I have a 5-year old (42") child, and a 7-year-old special needs child (52") that will need a stroller. Are there any double strollers that would fit both children?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nora! With your trip coming up so soon, let's get right to it and chat about strollers for your Mouseketeers so you can decide which options will work best for you on your upcoming trip.

Strollers are available for rent at all four Theme Parks as well as Disney Springs, and while they don't have a height restriction, they do have a weight restriction of 50 pounds for single strollers and a combined 100 pounds for the double strollers. As I mentioned, there isn't a rule about how tall kids need to be in order to use a stroller but they probably wouldn't be too comfortable for kids over four feet tall so it might not be the best option for your older kiddo. Disney has a Featured Provider that rents commercially-available strollers to guests so check out their information on the Stroller Rental page and see if there's anything that might work well for your kids. Since your trip is coming up so soon, I recommend calling Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 so you can talk to a Cast Member about your specific needs and come to a decision about what stroller or mobility option would be best for your family.

I hope this answers your question, Nora, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
