Hi. I was wondering if the parks have late extra magic hours, the first week of September 2020? We are planning a trip then, and wanted to include late extra magic hours. We have usually been there the first week of August. Thank you.

    Hi Lori,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're thrilled that you are planning another Walt Disney World vacation.

Since you have visited several times, you know what a terrific benefit Extra Magic Hours are for guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World resort. Generally, Extra Magic Hours are offered in the mornings and evenings on select days year-round.

The park hours schedule, including Extra Magic Hours, is published about six months in advance. So you should see the September calendar in early March, in time to make your advanced dining reservations and plan your itinerary for the parks.

A September visit opens the possibility that you can take part in a couple of Walt Disney World's premier events: the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Those schedules should be announced soon as well. In the past couple of years, both have launched just before Labor Day.

The Food & Wine Festival is included in Epcot admission, though you will pay individually for each bite and sip at the Global Marketplaces. Mickey's Not-So-Scary is a ticketed event at Magic Kingdom on select nights. It often sells out, so advance purchase of tickets is recommended.

Thanks again for coming back with your question, Lori. Please let us know if we can help in any other way as you make your plans for September. Enjoy!
