Hi Lesly!
My family loves the Fort Wilderness area, especially the enhanced wilderness theming and spaciousness of the Fort Wilderness Cabins. If you haven't stayed there before, you are in for a real treat!
My favorite time of the year to stay at Fort Wilderness is early December. The campsites at Fort Wilderness have a "Holiday Decoration Contest". You would be amazed at how elaborately decorated these campsites can be. In addition to touring the campsites, Fort Wilderness hosts many holiday themed activities including horse drawn "sleigh rides". Fort Wilderness is so much fun to visit during the Christmas holidays and usually the rates are lower from the time just after Thanksgiving to early December.
Here is a link for pricing out the rack rates (no discounts applied) for
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. At the top of your page select the tab that says "Room Rates". Then over to the right choose "View Seasonal Pricing" to view the room rates for the next several months.
If you want to view general room rates for an extended period of time another good site is Allears.Net. This is an unofficial site for Disney fans. They have the current and previous year's room rates listed by seasons. This has always been helpful to me when planning a vacation of 12 months or more away.
Thank you for your question Lesly. If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, please come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!
Blessings,
