Hi Sarah ~
I am a HUGE fans of the
tours at the Walt Disney World Resort and I'm on a quest to do them all! At the Magic Kingdom, I have done the Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Disney's Family Magic Tour, and Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour. I've also done Backstage Magic which does include the Magic Kingdom.
Each of these tours is unique but both Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour and Backstage Magic include a visit into the "Utilidors". Lunch is included in the cost of Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour and Backstage Magic. For Backstage Magic, lunch is at Whispering Canyon Café. On the Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour, lunch is at a quick-service location and that can vary. I've done it when lunch was at Columbia Harbour House but more recently it was at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour typically features a couple of attractions, a trip to the "Utilidors", and a visit to the parade staging area. You see a little more of the backstage areas on this one.
The Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour does not include lunch. You usually get to do three attractions and it does include a backstage area of one. I don't want to give it away but if you are a Haunted Mansion fan, you'll love this tour!
All of the tours include history and backstories. I recommend taking all of the tours but I may have a specific suggestion for you depending on what you're interested in seeing, the time you have to devote to a tour, and the money you'd like to spend.
I love soaking up every ounce of knowledge that I can about all things Disney so all of the tours have been worth the price for me. I've even done some of the tours multiple times.
I'm limited in space but please feel free to visit again. I'm hEAR for you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
