    Hi, I wonder if it's possible to meet the characters from Cars in any of the parks or downtown Disney? My 5 year old son loves Lightening McQueen &co, but I can't find out if there is an attraction including them... Thank You,

    Hey Ingrid-

    I.AM.SPEED. Just the thought of racing for the Piston Cup gets my motor roaring. I love the Disney•Pixar Cars movies and Lightning McQueen and his best buddy, Tow-Mater, are perfect characters.

    There are two places where Disney•PIXAR Cars characters have set up shop. One is at the Team McQueen headquarters at the end of Disney’s Hollywood Studios Street of America adjacent to the MuppetVision 3D attraction exit. Your son may get up close and personal with Lightning and Mater for photographs. They don’t sign autographs but his may rub his book on their tires to get a “signature”. They will make revving engine noises so enjoy the power of these two pals.

    Over at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort you will find the Cars Suite wing outdoor area to be home to all your son’s favorites. There are many characters here including Doc Hudson, Sally, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Sheriff, Luigi, Guido, Ramone, Flo, Fillmore and Sarge. In addition you can see facades of the Cozy Cone Motel, Wheel Well Hotel, Luigis Casa Della Tires and Tow Mater Towing & Salvage. The building’s exterior is designed look like Radiator Springs. If you want to visit this resort just take Disney’s complimentary bus service from a theme park or Downtown Disney Marketplace to Disney’s Art of Animation. If you go, be sure to have plenty of digital storage for all the photos you will capture of your son with his new friends.
