Ahoy there, Amrita! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, we're so happy to SEA you! I'm delighted to hear that you are planning a
Disney Cruise Line vacation - April is just around the corner, so let's get down to business so you can make some magical travel plans.
DCL sailings are a recipe for quality time with your favorite people! There are so many things to do as a family, both onboard and in the various ports, and it's one of our favorite ways to unplug and enjoy a relaxing vacation together. The
Disney Adventure will set sail on its maiden voyage next month, and it will be an incredible addition to DCL's fleet!
Amrita, if you book an April 2026 sailing on the Adventure and need to cancel a Guest,
cancellation fees may apply. These are charged per individual Guest, and increase the closer to the departure date you are. If one Guest cancels 14 days or less before departure, there is typically a 100% fee charged for that individual.
In this situation, you may want to look into the
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan. The plan includes a "cancel for any reason" feature, so if one of your adult Guests cannot sail due to a reason not covered by travel insurance, they can receive a credit for a future cruise. This credit, which can be applied to that individual only, is good for an amount of up to 75% of the cancellation fee and is valid for one year from the issue date.
I hope this information is helpful as you're making your plans, Amrita! If our planDisney crew can assist with other questions about your Disney cruise, please come back and see us again - we're always happy to help!
