Hello, Frances!
I'm so happy to be the one to welcome you to planDisney!
It's always so discouraging when an attraction, ride, or program that we love isn't available anymore. I'm sorry to report that I don't have any updates on the My Magical Day Program. Any future updates would likely be shared on the
Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products webpage or on the
Disney Parks Blog. I wish I had better news for you!
While the My Magical Day Program isn't available, there are some really amazing resources out there for families visiting the Disneyland Resort with disabilities. The
Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities webpage outlines the options available and also has links to
very detailed attraction guides that can help you determine what rides would be a good fit for your family. You may also be eligible to use the
Disability Access Service, often known as DAS, which is designed to help guests who are unable to wait in traditional queue environments due to their disabilities. You can even register for
DAS Advance through a video chat with a Cast Member who can help you select some experiences and prepare for your visit.
I'd also recommend keeping an eye on the
Special Offers and Discounts available on the Disneyland website. Maybe there will be a promotion that will help make your next Disneyland Resort visit possible!
Frances, I know none of these options are a replacement for the My Magical Day Program, but I hope that you'll be able to visit the Disneyland Resort soon and that these resources will help you when that day comes! I would also be thrilled to help you in any way that I can. You're always welcome to
send me a note and I'll fly back with some pixie dust in no time!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
