Hello Laura and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an interesting question!
As the current British Mum here on the Panel I can totally relate to your valid enquiry about using a pre-paid MasterCard as a payment method instead of carrying a pocket full of US Dollars in cash when visiting the magic of Walt Disney World Resort this coming September.
I'm happy to share that at present in addition to cash or travellers cheques the usual accepted forms of payments at Walt Disney World Resort are - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club Charge Card, JCB,
Disney Gift Cards, Disney Dream Reward Dollars and for US residents only Disney Visa Instant Credit. Additionally
Guests may use MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro, Switch and Delta as forms of payment when securing bookings via Walt Disney Travel Company.
Therefore as MasterCard is widely accepted at Walt Disney World Resort I would assume your pre-paid
Sainsbury's Bank Multi-currency Cash Passport would be too, however I highly recommend contacting Sainsbury's Bank direct just to completely confirm their own terms & conditions before travelling to the United States.
It may also be helpful for you to know that most
Disney Resort Hotels benefit from
in-room safes as a convenient and secure amenity for storing important items or documents such as cash and passports and of course as a Disney Resort Guest it's possible to
charge purchases at Walt Disney World Resort to your room via My Disney Experience with a simple touch of your MagicBand!
Wishing you an extra magical September jolly Disney holiday.
