Hi Connie,
How wonderful that you are planning such an incredible trip for your entire family. We've been fortunate to do something similar with my family, and the memories we created are truly priceless.
To help keep the costs down, if you are able to visit during the off-season (when schools are in session), it can make a big difference in costs. You may also want to check out the
Special Offers page to see potential discounts. During the fall, past years have often offered free dining.
When it comes to your
resort selection, there is a nice selection of choices that reflect many budgets. The
value resorts are the most budget-friendly.
Another possible option is to not purchase additions (park hopper and/or water fun and more) to your park tickets to help reduce costs. If you find that you'd like them once you arrive, they can be added at that time.
Since you are making big plan, you may find it easiest to work with a reputable travel agent who can do all the work on your behalf and provide you with a variety of options and their costs. AAA often has agents that specialize in Disney travel.
As you continue to plan, please let us know if we can help further. We all know how overwhelming it can be to plan a trip to Walt Disney World.
