Hi there, Dave! Welcome to planDisney.
Your Walt Disney World Resort holiday is coming up soon! I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing trouble with
Disney Genie. While it is a little tricky for me to know from afar just what features you are trying to use and what isn't working, I think I might know what the issue could be.
When using the complimentary Disney Genie service to help plan your itinerary, you must select a date and park for which you have a
Disney Park Pass reservation. If a different date or theme park is selected, you will see an error message stating either the Guest does not have a linked Disney Park Pass reservation or the Guest does not have an eligible ticket or pass. When using Disney Genie to plan"My Day", select a date on the calendar for which you have a Disney Park Pass reservation. The park you plan to visit should be listed. If you plan to park hop that day, after indicating your interests for the first park of the day, go to "My Day" and scroll down a bit to the blue banner to "Plan for Your Next Park". Here you'll be able to indicate the park you plan to visit next, and approximately what time you plan to "hop".
If instead, you are referring to making
Lightning Lane reservations with Disney Genie+ service, these
can only be booked on the date of your visit, beginning at 7:00 am. Guests may make an additional Lightning Lane selection after redeeming the first, or every 2 hours beginning 2 hours after the scheduled park opening time, whichever comes first. Individual Lightning Lane selections are purchased a la carte separately from attractions included with Disney Genie+. Disney Genie+ is not required to purchase Individual Lightning Lane access. Guests staying at
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Shades of Green, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels may purchase Individual Lightning Lane attractions beginning at 7:00 am. All other Guests may purchase beginning at the
scheduled park opening time.
As long as you can view your tickets in your
My Disney Experience account under "Tickets and Passes" and your Disney Park Pass reservations appear to be in order, you should not need to relink your tickets.
I hope this information was helpful! If you are experiencing a different issue that I did not address, feel free to send us another question with more details and we'll do our best to help you troubleshoot, or
contact Technical Support.
Dave, I am wishing you a wonderful holiday! Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
