Hi, I am trying to figure out a budget for once we are in the parks. We are planning on going to MK and AK. What things do you have to pay extra for once you are in the parks? Obviously I know the character dinners and any food, but what about shows?

I have found that it is easy to still have loads of fun at Walt Disney World on a budget. There are so many fun things to do and see in the parks all day. All of the shows, parades and entertainment at the parks are free. At Disney's Animal Kingdom you must see the Festival of the Lion King. Sure it has all the trappings of a Broadway show meets a circus, but it is included in the price of admission, as is Finding Nemo - The Musical. Both are included in admission. Also included are the amazing parades and  even the fireworks spectaculars at night. If you have not witnessed Wishes at the Magic Kingdom, the let me suggest that you add it to your list of must sees. It's beautiful and touching. Obviously, souvenirs, food and clothing are not included. I hope this assists you in having a magical vacation.
