Hi, I am trying to book the Reserved Area for the nighttime show for me, my partner and our 1-year old on either 20/2/26 or 21/2/26. I cannot book through the app - have these already sold out? Thanks

Hi there, Bethany. Welcome back to planDisney!

Is there anything more magical than the nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Resort? One of my earliest childhood memories is of Tinker Bell flying high over Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end of the fireworks. Pure magic, especially for little ones!

I have two suggestions for securing a great viewing area of the fireworks. The first option is reserving a Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace Dining Package. This is a fantastic place to view Disneyland’s beautiful silhouette beneath the fireworks. The experience includes charcuterie snacks and beverages, but the main event is having the spectacular viewing area for the show.

The second option is to book A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort, which includes a voucher to view Wondrous Journeys from one of the seated and roped-off viewing areas in front of the castle. I’ve had the opportunity to take this tour, and it’s such a great way to learn about what makes Disneyland so special!

I took the liberty of checking the dates you’re visiting, and both experiences have availability. The Skyline Terrace can be especially difficult to get a reservation at, so I’d say don’t wait! Make your reservation right away!

Bethany, the current fireworks show, Wondrous Journeys, is beautiful, and there are so many great places to see it. My family and I got stuck in a crowd on Main Street U.S.A., and thought it would be a mediocre place to view the show. Boy, were we wrong! It was great. We could see the entirety of the fireworks spectacularly flying over the castle, but what really made it great was the projections! The lights and projections on the fronts of the buildings on Main Street felt so close and vivid. It was enveloping! So just know that even if you can’t secure the “perfect spot,” it’s still a wonderful experience!

I’m so excited that you’ll be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. I wish you and your family many magical memories. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney. We’re here for you! I hope you have a magical day.
