Hi there Jane, welcome to
planDisney!
It’s great to help a fellow Canadian with a
Walt Disney World Resort question! Since your trip is just around the corner, let’s hop to it.
Walt Disney World Resort has a few different
theme park ticket options each suited to a different style of visit. Guests can purchase single day tickets, a Park Hopper and visit multiple parks in a day, Park Hopper Plus (multiple parks in a day and add on water parks and fun!) and the Water Park and Sports option (one park per day plus visits to Water Parks and sports activities). Currently, the 4-Park Magic Ticket is available to Guests (for visits through September 22, 2024) and allows for one admission per day to each of the 4 theme parks at Walt Disney World.
While I do enjoy Park Hopping, it does take time to travel from one park to another depending on the
mode of transportation used. When visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my family, we find that we can spend an entire day at one theme park and still not experience everything so we don’t usually purchase a Park Hopper ticket. We have also done trips where we have hopped to more than one theme park per day but it really depends on your travel group! Your ticket type decision may also depend on your length of stay. The 4-Park Magic Ticket is limited to 4 days whereas the other ticket types can be for a longer duration.
To answer your question about the 4-Park Magic Ticket and ages, there is an option for children under 10 years of age. To see the pricing, select the
4-Park Magic Ticket option, select the number of days as well as the start date of your ticket. Next, choose “4-Park Magic Ticket” and scroll down to “Select the Number of Tickets”. Here, you’ll see the ticket pricing for Ages 10+ as well as Ages 3-9.
Jane, I hope this information helps you with your ticket purchases, there are many options to choose from! If you have any additional vacation planning questions, please don’t hesitate to
reach out, I’m happy to help.
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
