Hi Caroline Louise!
Welcome to planDisney.
It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and it's always worth double-checking the fine details because things can often change at Walt Disney World. I'm also very happy to see that you are starting to plan your holiday nice and early in advance of your trip next year!
As you have booked your holiday with a UK airline, I am assuming you have purchased our
14-day Magic Tickets? You will be pleased to know that park reservations are no longer required when using date-based tickets, which applies to our Magic Tickets. This is great news as it allows us to be more spontaneous with our daily plans. I'm happy to say that park hopping is included with our Magic Tickets so there is no extra charge for that, and we can now go from park to park as much as we want (subject to capacity).
As your holiday is several months away, please continue to
check the advice on the Walt Disney World UK website, to ensure park reservations have not returned.
There is more good news as our 14-Day Magic Tickets can be used over a period of 18 days, and don't have to be used on consecutive days. This is so useful if you don't plan to visit theme parks every day, but intend to slot in a few quieter days, at the pool or shopping at Disney Springs.
Disney water park admission is another benefit of our 14-Day Magic Tickets giving us entry to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach, whichever is open at the time of your visit. It's worth knowing that entry to water parks does not use up one of our 14 days (as long as we are not visiting a theme park on the same day).
Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions - we will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday at Walt Disney World, and for all the latest official news, please keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog.
