Welcome Aboard, Nestor!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. I'm so excited to hear you'll be sailing on the beautiful
Disney Fantasy. You're in for a magical vacation full of Disney fun at every turn!
One of my favorite ways to make a Disney Cruise special is to bring along stateroom door decorations. Decorating the door is a great way to celebrate a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.), but truth be told, we like to have our door decorated because it makes it easier to find our room! In a long hallway of doors that look just alike, cute decorations help identify which stateroom belongs to our family.
On our last cruise, we had magnets in the shape of Disney nametags - one for each of us. We also brought along a large Mickey-shaped magnet with a collage of "Disney Cruise" words that related to our sailing. We saw lots of families with really awesome door decorations on our cruise - I'm always amazed at people's creativity!
The "around the porthole" decorations are some of the cutest ones I've seen. What better way to dress up your door and give it some "character" than with Mickey ears on the porthole? I've done some research, and found that the portholes are 7.5" in diameter. Remember to back your decorations with
magnets, as adhesives are not allowed to be used on stateroom doors.
I hope this helps! I hope you have a wonderful cruise on the Fantasy! - Diane W.
