HI, I thought that Disneyland is in florida and Disney World is in California? Which is which?

Hello Virginia. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Many people are often confused about Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Disneyland Resort is located in Southern California, and it consists of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, its on-site hotels, and Disney Downtown District. Walt Disney World Resort is located in Florida and is much larger in area than Disneyland Resort. Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney's Animal Kingdom make up the theme park portion. There are also two water parks: Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach. World-class dining, retail, and entertainment can be found at Disney Springs. ESPN Wide World of Sports as well as numerous on-site hotels and campgrounds are all part of the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this helps clarify between the two Resorts. If you have further questions, please visit us on the Panel again, Virginia.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
