Hi I am thinking of going to the river of lights on the 25th October 2018 do you know what time the show is on, is it only on the once or is there more than 1 showing per night. Kind regards Helen

    Hi Helen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for dropping by with your question. I just love the beautiful and moving Rivers of Light. I get chills as I watch the gorgeous show and think about the lovely message of  interconnectedness and peace.

Helen, it’s true that Rivers of Light does show twice a night at certain times of the year. I checked the calendar for October 25, 2018, and at this time it is only scheduled once, at 7:45 p.m. Please note that times are always subject to change, so my advice is to keep an eye on the show’s web page or Walt Disney World’s Park Hours, and you should also check the Times Guide when you arrive at the park.

I was so excited to hear about the new Rivers of Light Dessert Party, which offers scrumptious-sounding desserts and drinks served on the Asia Viewing Area terrace and a fantastic reserved viewing location. My family enjoyed a Dessert Party on our recent vacation, and we loved the extra magic of this special time to enjoy themed treats before taking in the spectacular show.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is absolutely stunning at night, with the Tree of Life Awakenings and the breathtaking bioluminescence of Pandora – The World of Avatar. I hope you enjoy every magical moment.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
