Hi Deidre! What an exciting time of year to be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a must do for our family. It is an extra ticket event and happens on select nights in Magic Kingdom Park. You can watch our favorite parade: Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and you may not believe your eyes as Cinderella Castle is lit up. Holiday music will fill the air and you can grab hot chocolate and cookies for a quick snack.
Another beautiful event is the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You may find yourself in shock and awe when you realize that you are surrounded by millions of glittering lights that are synchronized to beautiful holiday music. Toy soldiers, a gigantic Christmas tree, and even angels may make you not wanting to ever leave!
Some other must do’s that your son may love at Magic Kingdom Park are: Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and the Mad Tea Party. In Epcot my children love exploring The Seas with Nemo & Friends and the Kidcot Fun Stops in the World Showcase. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios my children love Disney Junior – Live on Stage! They also enjoy meeting characters such as Buzz Lightyear & Woody. Lastly in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, exploring all of the animals and taking an adventure on Kilimanjaro Safaris are at the top of our list.
Make sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Stations located at each of the four theme parks. Also I would like to link you to a great article that has broken down the
height requirements for #DisneyKids! I hope you have a magical vacation. Be sure to take moments to just enjoy the look on your son’s face!
