HiI am taking my wife and two kids ages 5 and 4 for our first trip on Apri 16-24. Can you give me a sample itinerary for each of the parks. Also what will the crowds be like during our stay? Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Grant!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Panel!

Based on past years, the parks will probably be about "medium" crowd-wise during your trip.  To get a really good idea of what parks will be crowded on which days of your trip, I recommend going to the independent website site TouringPlans.com.  That is the website for the research team behind the tour book  "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney Word". They are famous in the Disney fan community for their crowd calendar, which predicts the crowd levels in the parks on various days.  They make recommendations on which parks to visit on which days and which parks to avoid.

They are also famous for their touring plans, which are step by step instructions on how to experience the attractions to minimize the amount of time you have to wait in lines.  I believe this is the itinerary you are looking for.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  Basically they turned Walt Disney World into the time dependent traveling salesman problem if you are familiar with that mathematical / operations research problem.  As an engineer, I am a huge fan of their work!

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
