Hi, I have surgery coming up and cannot go on April 21, my reservation date. Is it possible if I transfer my ticket to my sister so she can take my 2yo son? I plan on going twice after that, is that possible before my three pass expires in May?

Hi Phuong! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and sending this great question our way.

I'm sorry to hear that your plans have changed and you won't be able to visit the Disneyland Resort this week. It sounds like you might have purchased a Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket. Your sister would only be able to use that ticket if she is a Southern California resident living in one of the ZIP codes, 90000-93599, or is a Northern Baja California resident within ZIP codes 21000-22999. If her residence matches this information, she would also need to provide proof of residency by showing a valid government-issued photo ID for entry into the park. Another important thing to know is that your ticket would be assigned to your sister and could no longer be used by you for the remaining days.

I would recommend that your sister purchase her own Theme Park Ticket and make a Theme Park Reservation. Before doing this, I highly recommend that she checks the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar for availability on the date she will take your son. While your 2-year-old son will not need a Theme Park Ticket or Theme Park Reservation to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, your sister will.

I'm wishing you the best with your upcoming surgery and hope you have a speedy recovery! One of the best things about The Happiest Place on Earth is that the magic will be waiting for you when you are healed and ready to visit! Please stop by planDisney if you have more planning questions.

Wishing you health, happiness, and magic!
    Smiles,
