Hi I am staying at Port Orleans and would like to take in the Hoop de Do review dinner show? What is the best way to get there and how much time should I allow?

Hi, Amy! I love the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, and I'm glad that you're going to see it! However, if you're not staying at Fort Wilderness, traveling to HDD gets a little complicated.

From Port Orleans, take a bus or boat to Downtown Disney and transfer to another bus headed to Fort Wilderness.  Once you arrive at the Fort Wilderness Outpost, you'll need to take an internal bus to the Settlement area where Pioneer Hall is located.  Depending upon the time of year and crowd levels, it may take you as much as 1.5 hours to get from Port Orleans to Pioneer Hall with an optimistic 1/2-hour estimate for each leg of your journey.  Of course, you can also take a taxi from your resort to the Settlement Loop just a short walk away from Pioneer Hall, too.  It just depends on if you'd rather spend more time or more money on the experience!

Another option for you would be to spend your time at the Magic Kingdom on the day of your HDD reservations, and then, take the boat over to Fort Wilderness approximately 30-45 minutes before showtime (again, depending on crowd levels).  The Ft. Wilderness boat launch is only a short walk to Pioneer Hall.  Have a rip-roaring good time at HDD, a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
