Hi, I have a stay coming up early April for a week. I was looking to purchase a couple one day passes for Typhoon Lagoon. My dates are April 6-14. Can I purchase cheaper ticket with blackout dates or is this week have blackout dates? Thanks in advance

    Hi there, Matthew!

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you'll be in the middle of the magic just next week! There's no time to test the waters, so let's dive right into your question.

Florida's warm spring temperatures make it the perfect time to channel your inner Moana and answer the call of Walt Disney World Resort water parks. I can tell you've already done your research and know that Walt Disney World water parks operate on a rotational calendar, so Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be where you make a splash in April.

As far as tickets are concerned, you have a couple of options. If you would like to, you could add the Park Hopper Plus option to your theme park tickets. This would not only allow you to visit multiple theme parks on the same day, but it also includes access to certain Walt Disney World recreation activities during your stay (including water parks). This add-on would need to be purchased the entire length of your tickets but is an excellent option if you'd like to enjoy multiple days at a water park or foster a little friendly competition with miniature golf. If a single-day ticket is all you need, I have great news for you! Current Blockout dates for the lower-priced 1-Day Water Park Tickets do not include the month of April, so the 1-Day Water Park Ticket with Blockout Dates should fit your needs this year.

While you're enjoying Typhoon Lagoon, I hope you'll make time for Castaway Creek. In my opinion, there's no better way to rest weary theme park feet than by leisurely floating along a lazy river.

I hope this was helpful, Matthew, and that you have a wonderful time in The Most Magical Place on Earth. If any other questions arise, you're welcome to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!

    Just keep swimming,
    Lizzie
