Hi,I will be spending my 27 bday at Disney this yr, June 6-16, it will also be the 1st time my 4yr old visits Disney! My mother and grandmother will be joining us what activities will be appropriate for our celebrations? Both adult and child friendly?

You are sure to make magical memories during your upcoming celebration at Walt Disney World, Josie.  I'm so excited for you!

Having done a number of multi-generational trips before, I can tell you from experience that you won't have any trouble finding entertainment to suit the whole family.  All four of the theme parks feature attractions and shows that will leave everybody in awe.  Make sure you visit the parades and nighttime entertainment (Fantasmic! and IllumiNations, for example) as those are especially amazing!

Outside of the theme parks, you'll want to make time to enjoy dinner at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue; it's a great place to celebrate a birthday and it's totally family-friendly.  Disney's BoardWalk, too, should be a must do on your list.  My family has always enjoyed renting a surrey bike there and going for a ride.  The BoardWalk also features a dueling piano bar called Jellyrolls.  It is adult only fun; my husband and I try to visit once during each vacation.  Oh, and the new Splitsville at Downtown Disney would be a great way for the whole family to spend some time together!

I hope I've given you some ideas, Josie.  Please don't hesitate to follow up with me if I can be of further assistance in planning your celebratory trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
