    Hi! I am running in the Dopey Challenge for the first time and have a question regarding transportation. I am staying at Bay Lake, do you recommend taking the bus or using the monorail? How much time should I allow? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Tom!

    Great question.  You actually have two nice ways to get to the races every day:)

    Since the monorail would involve changing trains at the Ticket and Transportation Center to get on the monorail that goes to Epcot, I think the buses would probably be quicker.  (although, definitely less fun!)

    I like to be on one of the first buses out.  This is more important on the days of the half and full marathons, because there are more runners and a lot more traffic!  You can find the schedule of transportation times in the Race Instruction Booklet.  It can be downloaded on the Walt Disney World Marathon website, under the tab "RUNNER INFO".  It will also be in print form at the expo.
