Hi I see the RFID Readers have been put at the entrances to the Parks now. Will new tickets issued have the reader enabled facility on them as from now? Also, will the KTTW cards be enabled with these?

    Hi James!

This is a great question.  Unfortunately, I don't know the answer yet.  Disney hasn't announced when the use of RF-ID tags will be routine for guests.  The RF-ID readers have been used during the past year in various tests of technology and operations.  I was involved in one such test myself and my family greatly enjoyed the technology.  However, when we did it we thought some tweaks were still needed.  Hopefully Disney will be ready to roll this out into routine day-to-day operations soon.  I suggest checking back with the Walt Disney World Moms Panel or keeping an eye out for news on the official Disney Parks Blog.  Disney releases a lot of information about changes to the parks via that official blog.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for your now, but please write back with more questions!
