Hi
Keith!
Congratulations on securing both the FREE Disney Dining promotion and reservations at
California Grill! This fabulous dining location can easily accommodate your vegetarian diet. If you didn't already notate it on your reservation, please contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE. It is very likely the chef will go over the available menu options and/or prepare dishes that will be suitable to your dietary needs. Here's the
California Grill Dinner Menu. I can tell you the Ratatouille "Tagliatelle" is excellent! I highly recommend it! To learn more about special dietary needs please read
HERE.
The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) includes a drink, an entree, and a dessert. Typically the dishes listed under the main course are your options for the entree, but then again the chef may create a vegetarian version of any of those for you. All other sections of the menu at California Grill are considered appetizers (which are not included in the DDP).
Generally speaking the first course of any meal, like the appetizer course, is on the lighter side. This is not to say that the actual food is light, but rather that the food (a pasta, a salad, or even a hearty chowder), are typically smaller portions than those found listed as main course entrees. Keeping that in mind, you may request to have any of the items listed under any of those sections of the menu to count as your main entree. Your request may indeed be honored.
Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
