Hi!, I am really excited to be going to Disney next January 15th -21th, I would like to know when can I start planning? (Booking vacation packages, dining plans, etc). Thanks!

    Hi Rachel,

When is the best time to think about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation? All the time!

A Magic Your Way Vacation Package is the best way to book a magical vacation, since it combines hotel accommodations at select Disney Resort hotels and theme park tickets. You can also add other options like Disney Dining Plans. At this time, pricing and options have not been released, but once they do, you can simply do it online, you could call a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or your travel agent.

Restaurant reservations can be booked up to 180 days in advance. Certain experiences such as Cinderella’s Royal Table are strongly recommended to be reserved as soon as possible. Note that you do not have to have a resort reservation in on order to book them, but having one helps you a little bit as you can book them for your entire stay, 180 days before your arrival. Simply go to the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page. Also keep track of the reservation numbers and link them to your My Disney Experience account.

So, let’s start planning now! In the meantime, come back to us with any other questions you may have.
