Smile, Bonnie! Taking pictures is making memories, and you're going to be doing a lot of both on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Memory Maker is such a great way to capture all of your vacation photos at the theme parks and beyond during your visit, and it's a sure way to make sure everyone gets to be in the picture, too!
Once you have purchased your Memory Maker, all you have to do is visit the
PhotoPass photographers throughout the theme parks and have them capture your vacation photos - be sure to ask them about special
MagicShots, too! These are some of my favorites! After you have taken your photos, be sure to scan your MagicBand+, MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World card to link the photos to your account, and you'll be good to go! As long as your travel party is all linked to you in your Family and Friends list on your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to view and download photos they have taken and scanned for as well!
Because you made the Memory Maker purchase on your account, when you are ready to activate the Memory Maker, you can do so in your My Disney Experience mobile app, and you will be able to download your photos taken within 30 days of activation. Your family and friends will be able to view the photos, but they will only be available for download without the watermark on your account, so you will need to download and share them with your travel party! I usually set up an online album and share the link once we have returned home so that everyone can easily see and save the photos from our trip!
Bonnie, also included with your Memory Maker are
select attraction photos and videos,
photos from character meet and greets, and photos from experiences such as
Bibbibdi Bobbidi Boutique and
Capture Your Moment photo sessions. You can also visit the
Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs, where you can select from a number of magical backgrounds for some additional family photos! My daughter and I had a great time doing this on a recent trip with some of her friends! Another great place to maximize your photo opportunities is inside of
Sir Mickey's in Magic Kingdom Park where you'll find the Royal Portrait Studio!
